Five people have been left dead following the attack of gunmen at a mosque in Nasarawa.
According to reports from a resident, Ibrahim Yakubu, five people, ho we’re displaced due to the numerous gunmen attack in the neighborhood were sleeping in the mosque when it was invaded in the Katakpa community in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State around 2am on Wednesday, July 24.

Speaking to Daily Trust, the resident added that the shooting attracted some soldiers who mobilized to the scene and engaged the gunmen, killing several of them.
