Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a traditional ruler in Plateau State, identified as Joshua Mutkut.
Mutkut, who is the paramount ruler of the Mushere community in Bokkos Local Government Area of the state, was abducted at his palace in the locality on Sunday night.
The state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, confirmed the development on Monday while appearing on a programme organised to celebrate Democracy Day in the state.
