Gunmen Kill 2 Policemen in Delta | Daily Report Nigeria

Gunmen reportedly killed two policemen on Sunday along the Ughelli-Asaba Road by the Oleh roundabout in Delta State.

According to reports, the gunmen also burnt the police patrol van.

It was disclosed the incident has caused significant tension in the area, leading transporters and travelers to seek alternative routes.

The policemen were attached to the Dragon Patrol team, as confirmed by the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

However, Edafe said he does not have details of the death of the policemen.

And, whether or not the gunmen stole the officers’ service rifles remained unclear as of press time.
