Unknown gunmen has reportedly killed the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Chief Sunday Frank Oputu.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that Oputu was killed at his residence in Yenagoa.

Details of his death remain sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Oputu hails from Igbomotoru in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state. He was a former Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) in the state.
As at the time of filing this report, the Police were yet to confirm the incident.
