Gunmen have reportedly killed the zonal coordinator of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara states, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Mawa.
It was gathered that the accountant was shot dead by gunmen along Lapai-Lambata road, Niger State in the late hours of Sunday.
The victim was said to be on the way back to his Kaduna residence from Lafiaji, Kwara State, when he was ambushed by the gunmen.

In another development the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), has announced Mazi Chika Edoziem as its new leader.
Edoziem who is believed to be the deputy leader of IPOB, would pilot the affair of the group until Nnamdi Kanu is released.
