Alarmed residents immediately alerted local authorities as the news spread through the community.

Confirming the incident, the community leader, Ahmad Sani, said the killings had shaken residents, describing the area as peaceful and unaccustomed to such violence.

“The entire community is in shock. This is a peaceful area, and such an incident has never happened before. We are worried because there is no security presence here,” Sani said.

He lamented that although a police outpost had been constructed in the area, officers were yet to be deployed, leaving residents vulnerable. Sani appealed to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, Dr Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, to urgently reinforce security in the community.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, declined to release details, stating that investigations were still ongoing.

Meanwhile, residents have called on security agencies to swiftly track down the perpetrators and ensure justice for the victims, as fear continues to grip the area.
