Gunmen Kill Two Police Officers in Anambra, Burn Their Bodies

Gunmen have reportedly killed two police officers in Anambra state.

Ikenga Tochukwu, Anambra command spokesperson, who made this known in a statement on Sunday, said the slain officers were travelling with their colleagues when they came under attack by the gunmen.

According to him, one officer is still missing, while other officers were able to fight their way out of the ambush and rescue two civilian drivers travelling with them.

Tochukwu said: “In the attack, two police officers were killed and their bodies were burnt while one of the officers is still missing,”
