Nigerians who supported the challenge by Chef Hilda Baci to beat Guinness World Record(GWR) for marathon cooking by an individual, have expressed worry that the industry is yet to post about the Lagos-based restaurateur.

“Why is Guinness World Records not showing or talking about Hilda’s cook-a-thon? Can’t see anything on their pages (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).”
Replying to the aforementioned, the Guinness Book of Records said on its official Twitter handle;
“We’re aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record.”
Meanwhile, Baci has extended her cooking to 100 hours to break the Guinness World Record for longest cooking hours.
As of 4:00 pm on Monday, Baci had cooked for 96 hours to surpass the previous record set by Lata Tondon, who, a few hours ago, expressed her support for the Nigerian chef.
Tondon herself completed the task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs in Rewa, India, in 2019, setting the current world record for the longest cooking marathon.
