Hallmark Newspaper Publisher, Emeka Obasi Dies at 58

Prince Emeka Obasi, a veteran journalist and publisher of Hallmark Newspaper, is dead.

Obasi reportedly died Tuesday, March 16, at the age of 58.

The award-winning journalist, who hails from Abia State and was a former Commissioner for Information in the state, had been battling a health challenge for the past eight years.

In a statement announcing the death of the journalist reads;

Prince Emeka, the Publisher of Hallmark Newspapers passed on, Tuesday March 15, 2022 at a Lagos hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Dr (Mrs) Betty Obasi, and Children – Emeka (jnr), Onyedikachi, Kamsi, Miracle, siblings aunties, and uncles.

Further burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
