Hardship: Man Rescued Attempting Suicide On Lagos Bridge [VIDEO]

A Nigerian man has been rescued while attempting to commit suicide on a Lagos bridge.

According to a trending video seen by our correspondent, the yet-to-be-identified man was seen attempting to jump off a bridge into a busy express road in Lagos state.

The young man had scaled the barricade on the pedestrian bridge and tried to jump off it when he was rescued by passersby.

It took several struggles for him to be carried out of danger.

While the cause of the reason behind his attempted suicide could not be ascertained, it may not be far from the recent economic hardship caused by the hugh cost of living occasioned by the hike in fuel price.

Man commits suicide over wife’s Infidelity

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man has reportedly killed himself after finding out about his wife’s Infidelity.

The deceased, identified as Gabriel Magaji committed suicide by hanging himself over the alleged infidelity of his wife on Monday, August 9 in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The deceased is said to have committed the act after finding out that his friends often slept with his wife in exchange for money.

The deceased identified as Gabriel Magaji, of the Masaka area in the LG, was said to have killed himself on Monday, over the situation.
