England captain Harry Kane has praised teammate Jude Bellingham for his standout performance in their Euro 2024 Round of 16 win over Slovakia on Sunday. Bellingham scored a crucial stoppage-time goal, sending the game into extra time, where Kane then scored the winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory for England.
Speaking about Bellingham after the match, Kane called the Real Madrid star “one of the best in the country’s history.”
“We work on so many details throughout the week, and we practiced a long throw a couple of days ago, saying we might need it,” Kane told ITV. “Then Jude does what Jude does – an unbelievable goal that kept our tournament alive.
