Born Harrison Tare Okiri, singer Harrysong has advised artistes with fake streaming numbers.
Harrysong gave the advice during a recent chat with The Nation.
The “Konna” singer was giving his opinion on the outrageous streaming numbers by artistes.

He explained that fake streaming would definitely boost the artistes’ numbers and likely give them records, but it won’t amount to anything financially.
“You won’t make money from it if you are fake streaming. You will get the hype and the number would be high but you will be broke because you have to pay people to do that so be real and be cool and learn to just grow.”
The songwriter also revealed he may consider venturing into filmmaking someday.
He said:
“With music I know I am blessed but I can’t say the same for acting. Maybe I can invest in filmmaking someday as an executive producer.”
