  • Two people have been reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Benue state.

  • According to an eyewitness, the victims were killed on Thursday, following the herdsmen attack.

Two people have been confirmed dead following an attack in a Benue community.

Daily Report gathers that the suspected herdsmen killed two men, identified as Terwsse Azege and Orseer Kende, in Tse Wende in Adam village, a sub of Turan in Kwande Local Government of Benue State on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Confirming the incident, a member of the community, Fabian Tersee said;

“We have not rested over the issue of armed herders. We only chose not to give them media coverage. But for how long are we going to endure these killer epidemic? Just yesterday in my village, they strike and killed Terwsse Azege and Orseer kende. This happened at Tse Wende in Adam village a sub of Turan. Rest in peace Brothers. Chief Fabian (Son of Jato Aka),”
