Despite facing criticism and controversy, Dammy has remained committed to her cookathon, which began on June 9.
Some have accused her of trying to outdo Hilda Baci, who cooked for 100 hours in May.
On June 12, a businessman offered to pay Dammy one million to stop cooking, but she has refused to give up and plans to continue for another 20 hours.
However, Chef Hilda Baci was still waiting for her 100-hour record to be verified.
The above meant that the current verified longest cookathon record was still held by Chef Lata Tondon, who cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
Nonetheless, some Nigerians have rallied support for Chef Dammy, with one supporter even offering her five hundred thousand naira and a cooking tour in the United States, US.
