Hisbah Arrests Youths Over Indecent Haircut, Not Observing Fasting In Kano

• The Kano Hisbah group has arrested a group of people, following multiple violation of its laws.

• The people, mostly youths were arrested for crimes like not participating in the Ramadan fasting.

• The board pledged to apprehend all offenders during this fasting month.

Operatives of the Hisbah group have arrested a group of people in Kano state.

According to reports from the Commander General of the Board, Dr. Mujahideen Abubakar, some young men were first apprehended for not observing the ongoing Ramadan fasting.

While still confirming the incident to journalists, the commander added that during the patrol by the board, 60 other people were arrested over Indecent dressing in the metropolis.

According to him, these acts violated the Islamic laws and cultural norms.

Abubakar noted that the board is hell bent on making sure the shariah law is duly observed during the month of Ramadan.

In other news, a man has been confirmed dead, after he slumped while breaking his Ramadan fasting.

According to reports, he was eating fruits with his friends when he suddenly fell down and was rushed to the hospital.
