How Gunmen Kidnap, Kill Lawmaker’s Aide In Bauchi

• Hon. Ismail Dabo Haruna, one of the members of the House of representative has expressed his anger and dissatisfaction at the state of security in the country.

• Haruna lamented about the Kidnap and murder of his aide, Nimah Sulaiman despite the payment of ransom.

A member of the House of Representatives has narrated how his special aide was kidnapped and brutally killed even after the payment of ransom.

Haruna, who represents the Toro federal constituency of Bauchi State, said the special aide was kidnapped after entering a ‘one chance’ vehicle while on her way home on October 17, 2024.

The lawmaker also expressed his concerns about the recent kidnapping and one chance activities in the country’s capital, Abuja.

He said;

One Miss Sulaiman, a Legislative Aide of Hon Dabo, was kidnapped and brutally m8rdered on Thursday 17th October, 2024 on her way home to Jahi District, around 6:15 pm, where she was taken at gunpoint at Bannex Junction in Wuse 2 by one-chance operators.

“Despite paying ransom in full, her life was tragically cut short. Her body was found between the hours of 9 to 10 pm at Maitama/Minister’s hill Bridge,” he said.

“This heinous crime has sent shockwaves through our community, confirming the escalating insecurity in the FCT. It is our collective responsibility as lawmakers to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.”
