How Gunmen Rape Wife, Kill Husband In Nasarawa

  • A community in Nasarawa state has been thrown into a state of tension and confusion, following a recent attack on a couple.

  • A man and his wife were reportedly attacked in their home, leading to the death of the duo.

  • The wife’s raped to death, while the husband succumbed to his matchet wounds.

Residents and family memebrs have been thrown into a state of mourning, after assailants invade the home of a couple in Nasarawa state.

According to reports, the hoodlums made way into the house through the window, and raped the wife to death.

This happened in Angwan Kari community in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State in the early hours of Sunday, April 13.

Vanguard reports that the gunmen killed the couple, identified as Mr Williams Wasiu Jimoh and r3ped his wife, Banke, to d3ath.

Confirming the incident, the Coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), Pastor Lee Ngbede said;

Brother and Sister Jimoh were committed members of the FCS here in Keffi. The situation surrounding their gruesome death remains a shock to the entire Christian body in Keffi and the state,”

 

He added that a concern was raised by Mrs. Jimoh’s father, who noted that he hadn’t heard from the duo in a while.

Upon a visit to their house by a colleague and police officers, the couple were found, with the wife’s body decomposing, her legs spread apart and her hand over her head. A view which made people sense sexual assault.

The husband was also found with multiple matchet wounds and was barely alive.

The police said from all indications, the woman was raped to d3ath. After that, her neck was also slashed, and it was practically dangling,” an eyewitness claimed

The wife, Mrs Jimoh was buried on April 10, and Mr Jimoh, who succumbed to his injuries, April 16.

Many residents have linked the attack to the Fulani herdsmen, noting of similar violence in the area.
