How to Check 2024 UTME Results on Your Phone

JAMB Reschedules 2023 UTME in 100 Centres

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

This article provides candidates with easy steps to access their 2024 JAMB/UTME results without needing to visit a Computer Based Testing (CBT) center or cybercafé.

To access your results, follow these steps:

  1. Retrieve your registered phone number, which can be found on your JAMB examination slip.

    ATTENTION: Click “HERE” to join our WhatsApp group and receive News updates directly on your WhatsApp!

  2. Text “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the registered phone number.

  3. Candidates with available results will receive a message containing their result details.

JAMB’s Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, announced during a press conference at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja that 1.94 million candidates registered across 118 towns and over 700 centers nationwide.

Oloyede revealed that 80,810 candidates were absent, leaving 1,904,189 participants. Results for 1,842,464 candidates have been released.

Only 0.4 per cent of candidates scored 300 and above, while 24 per cent achieved scores of 200 and above. 76 per cent of candidates scored below 200.

Female candidates made up 50.6 per cent of the total enrolment, while males constituted 49.4 per cent.

3,164 candidates with disabilities participated, a 36.2 per cent increase from the previous year.
