Usman Muktar, the Ilorin zonal commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has decried the high rate of cyber-fraud among youths and urged parents and stakeholders to help curb the menace.

Muktar, who revealed that the anti-graft body had witnessed an increasing number of arrests of Nigerian youths in cyber crime in recent times, gave parents some tips on how to recognize when their child is engaging in it.

Speaking to journalists, he said, “When your children, who are in schools stop asking you money for upkeep or driving expensive cars, parents should ask questions.
