Paramedics tried their best but couldn’t revive him.
Earlier this year, Hogan had neck surgery.
However, his wife Sky reassured supporters that his heart remained “strong.”
In 1977, he stormed into pro wrestling. By the 1980s, he’d won six WWF Championships and turned the sport into a global, family-friendly hit.
He shocked the industry again in 1996, reinventing himself as “Hollywood Hogan” in WCW’s nWo.
That heel turn sparked the Monday Night Wars and sealed his legacy.
WWE saluted him on X as “one of pop culture’s most recognisable figures,” sending love to his family, friends, and fans.
Hogan leapt from the ring to Hollywood, starring in Rocky III, No Holds Barred, Suburban Commando, and Mr. Nanny.
As tributes pour in, his roar still echoes at WrestleMania and across sports entertainment.
