According to residents, over fifty human skulls have been removed from graves by supposed ritualists who operated at night.
The community thereafter formed a vigilante group and positioned the men at possible loopholes in the community.
The vigilante group eventually arrested Solomon in the early hours of Tuesday around an area called Idologun.
Reports stated the suspect was about to exhume a skull when he was nabbed by residents with another skull in his bag, and the tools he uses in digging out the dry heads.
The Onipokia of Ipokia, Oba Yisa Olaniyan speaking to journalists said the suspect has been handed over to the Police and an investigation has commenced immediately.
Oba Olaniyan who believed the suspect did not work alone said:
“We must get to the root of this matter and everybody involved must face the law, no matter who they are.”
The traditional ruler stated that the police discovered other unnumbered human skulls in Solomon’s house during a raid.
