Some hunters in Kaduna State have discovered two lifeless bodies suspected to be bandits.

According to reports, the suspected bandits were found at Kurmin-Kare forest after fleeing a gun duel with soldiers in the Kachia local government area of Kaduna State.

 

According to a source who spoke with DAILY POST, the bandits were said to have fled the scene of a gun duel between them and soldiers at Mai-Iddo village last Saturday.

The gun duel was said to have occured following a road in the bandits hideout, in which four abducted farmers, including a female, were rescued.

The source said, “two hunters from neigbouring Kurmin-Kare village found the two corpses on a rocky hill in the area on Monday.”

He further explained that the village head of the area confirmed that the two corpse suspected to be bandits were found in the forest by hunters.

The police is yet to comment on the matter.
