A Zambian man identified as Martin Sampa reportedly collapsed after he discovered his wife, Lushomo is his landlady.
The couple has been living in the apartment for 15 years and Sampa has been paying a monthly rent of 3500 kwacha (N90,000) to the owner, reports stated.
When the rent was due, he gives the money Lushomo who then took it to the ‘landlord.’

However, the discovery came when Lushomo learned that Sampa was having an extramarital affair.
Then was a fight where Sampa admitted to cheating, but defended his action noting that he needed a mistress because whom he could chat Intelligibly.
Angered by this, his wife confessed and accused him of lacking sense because he had been paying rent even though the house they have been living in for years belonged to her.
He doubted her claim until she showed him the proof of the house, which shocked him so much that he slumped.
Residents rushed and poured buckets of water on Sampa while trying to revive him.
