The recent arrest of popular Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, otherwise known as HushPuppi, over cybercrime activities has left other Nigerians living in Dubai at risk of unemployment.

Multiple employers of labour in the United Arab Emirates have placed an embargo on Nigerians from applying for job openings in their firms that Africans alike are meant to apply for.

An advert by Shirley Recruitment Consultants in Dubai for merchandisers with clear emphasis that they do not want Nigerians.
