A 25-year-old man simply identified as Muyiwa, has expressed his desire to tie the knot with his 85-year-old sweetheart despite all obstacles.
The old woman already has eight children and twenty grandchildren.
Thereza and Muyiwa are planning to marry despite opposition from the woman’s children and the man’s friend, Kakule.

Recounting the events that led up to their meeting in an interview with Afrimax, Muyiwa revealed that he had left Congo for an unidentified African country with the sole purpose of pursuing his studies at a university.
Thereza happened to be the landlady of the house Muyiwa and his friend rented.
During his time there, an occurrence made him believe she was the one for him.
Muyiwa recounted an incident that occurred on a fateful Friday.
He said:
“I remember one Friday when my colleague wasn’t around, I was hungry and we had no food. I was very weak. And out of nowhere, the old woman brought me some food. She came and served me with too much care.”
Muyiwa said other ladies he had loved in the past were dramatic, Thereza is unique, and he hopes she doesn’t die before him.
The mother of 8 kids and 20 grandkids asserted that she loves Muyiwa just as he loves her.
She said:
“I am 85 years of age. I have 8 children and 20 grandchildren. According to my boyfriend’s age, he could be my 5th grandchild. He loves me and I also love him. I am now ready to put on the wedding dress and ring.”
