In his 64th Independence Day speech delivered on Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed a deep awareness of the challenges currently faced by Nigerians, particularly the rising cost of living and employment struggles.

He emphasized his administration’s commitment to implementing measures aimed at alleviating these difficulties.

“Fellow Nigerians, as I address you today, I am deeply aware of the struggles many of you face in these challenging times,” the President stated.

He acknowledged the financial strain affecting countless households, saying, “Our administration knows that many of you struggle with rising living costs and the search for meaningful employment. I want to assure you that your voices are heard.”

Tinubu called for patience from the citizenry, assuring them that the reforms being undertaken are beginning to yield positive results.

“Once again, I plead for your patience as the reforms we are implementing show positive signs, and we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.
