Born Aubrey Drake Graham, the Popular American rapper has said that he is a Nigerian.
Drake claimed he may be Nigerian following the outcome of a recent ancestry test by his family.
Sharing his Dad’s ancestry results on social media, Drake revealed he was 30% Nigerian.

He made the disclosure on Sunday in a post on his Instagram page.
He said: “This is my dad’s results, does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?”

Drake joins a growing list of world superstars to have traced their ancestry to Nigeria.
Beyoncé, SZA, Diddy, and many others claimed their ancestors were from Nigeria some years ago.
The most recent claim was made by Rihanna who said her ancestors were Igbo.
Making the revelation in 2022, the singer explained that she didn’t mention Nigeria because the country was nonexistent at the time her ancestors left the shores of Igboland.
