‘I can Marry and Buy you’ – Portable Claps Back at Laide Bakare

Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has fired back at actress Laide Bakare following her derogatory remarks about him, where she referred to him as a “dirty boy from Sango.” Portable hit back, asserting his capability to marry and financially support the actress.

The feud ignited after Laide Bakare made disparaging comments about Portable during an interview with Talk to B. She criticized the singer’s behavior and labeled him as a “dirty boy,” particularly in response to some vulgar statements Portable had made on social media.

During the interview, Laide was confronted with personal questions, including the controversy surrounding the paternity of her child, with two individuals claiming to be the child’s father. This discussion further fueled the tensions between Portable and Laide Bakare.

In response, she stated: “That’s where Wahala started. When I finished my house in Lekki, I sent out invitations. I saw it, they saw it, no response at all.

“I told them, ‘You’re not okay.’ I sent invitations to you, and you didn’t even say anything. So, when I now got my vehicle, a person commented under my post, saying, ‘Sorry rich woman.”

Following Laide Bakare’s derogatory remarks, she further insulted Portable, referring to him as “a dirty mad boy from Sango” after he commented on her post.

In response, Portable released a video, highlighting Bakare’s previous statement about her willingness to retaliate if her husband cheats. He warned her against interacting with his wife, expressing concern that her influence could negatively impact his spouse.

Portable stated: “No be you do interview say if your husband cheats, you go cheat. Due to this, I messaged and asked that you shouldn’t associate with my wife, who is an actress.”

“Because you’re unfortunate, you might advise her to cheat as well.

“You called me a dirty boy, but I can buy and marry you. Who is your husband? Tell me your husband.”
