I have given up on Activism – Aisha Yesufu

Aisha Yesufu, a prominent activist in the socio-political sphere, has disclosed her reason for leaving activism for politics.

She was replying to one of her supporters, who noticed that the former ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ campaigner has turned into a politician.

Aisha played a vital role in the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Team for the 2023 election.

She posted on X: “Someone told me I have given up activism for politics. I said yes, absolutely!”

“He can take charge of activism while I concentrate on politics. You expect me to be a bystander in what will determine the kind of leadership that will either improve my life with good governance or ruin it with bad governance? You are not well at all!”
