Nigerian musician Badmus Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to express his frustration with ongoing issues regarding his First Bank Nigeria account.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Portable claimed that for over a month, he has been unable to transfer money or withdraw funds from his account, despite receiving deposits.
In the video, Portable voiced concerns about being unable to access his money through both ATM and POS transactions. He emphasized that the funds in the account were rightfully his, stating, “Please, First Bank Nigeria, I own the money. The money is my money. I keep the money in your account.”

The artist also raised fears for his safety, referencing reports of kidnappings in banks and saying, “I don’t want them to kidnap me in bank.” He further clarified his source of income, stating, “I don’t do scam. I do music for a living,” and adding that money enters his account daily through his musical career.
Throughout the video, Portable expressed his desire for the bank to resolve the issue, stating that he only has one account with First Bank and no other means of access to his funds. “Please, open my bank. First bank account. Open it,” he pleaded, hoping the bank would address his concerns and restore his access to the account.
