Nigerian skit maker and comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Sabinus, has opened up about a past relationship that left him emotionally shaken and full of regret.
Speaking during a recent TikTok livestream with influencer Sandra Benede, Sabinus said he strongly relates to what TikTok star Peller is currently going through after his breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.

According to Sabinus, love can push people into decisions they may later regret. He recalled how he once bought a woman a Range Rover out of love, only for her to end the relationship afterward.
He explained that seeing Peller’s emotional reactions and public struggles reminded him of his own experience, noting that heartbreak can affect people deeply.

“Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is cruel. I once gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love. She later left me, and I regretted it. Nobody should blame Peller,” Sabinus said.
The comedian urged Nigerians to show empathy instead of mocking people dealing with heartbreak, stressing that emotional pain can push people into depression and reckless actions.
In December 2025, Sabinus revealed that his marriage to his wife, Ciana Chapman, had ended. The couple, who got married privately in 2023, were together for just over one year and share a child.
