British-Nigerian singer and songwriter, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has taken to social media to state his reason for smoking.
In a post shared via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, June 14, the singer stated that he smokes to get fit

This revelation brought about some reactions from his fans.

“What message are you passing to the youths? .. they should also smoke for fitness sake ? .. you have enough money to take good care of your health what about dose that don’t have , what will be their case ?”

“Naira Marley u can’t “smoke to get fit”, that’s either a blatant lie or a misconception; Don’t be brainwashed cos smoking affects one’s stem cells, can cause cancer, heart disease, makes one age faster etc. So it’s best u qu!t while u can, cos “smokers are liable to die young”.
In another development, Nigerian Singer, Kizz Daniel recently quit smoking for good and he has opened up that it wasn’t an easy decision.
He made this disclosure during a Q&A session he had with fans on Twitter.
The fan asked him ;
How do you feel since you’ve stopped smoking?
Was it a hard decision to make?
He replied;
Honestly, I still stay around my guys that smoke just to inhale😂 but I’m getting there. E no easy , it takes time I guess
