A Nigerian lawyer has reacted to the trending news of a pregnant woman who died in labour.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls a pregnant woman who was denied admission or medical treatments after she and her husband was unable to pay a deposit fee of N500k.
The video, which showed the woman and her man in a car stirred reactions online, after it was revealed that she later gave up the ghost.

Reacting to this, the Nigerian lawyer, identified as Benkingsley Nwashara said he would never allow his sister marry a financially unstable man.
Taking to his X page and using the case of the pregnant woman as an example, he noted that the death was too painful, and he can’t bear it.
“I don’t care what you think, but I will never let my sister marry a man who isn’t financially stable. It’s absolutely a necessity. That pregnant woman’s death due to lack of 500k is painful.”
