The Department of State Services (DSS) informed the court that the former governor could not be produced for his plea because he had not yet been released by the anti-corruption agency.
DSS counsel, Oluwole Aladedoye (SAN), told Justice Joyce Abdulmalik that discussions had been held with the defence team to agree on a new date, while El-Rufai’s lawyer, Oluwole Iyamu (SAN), confirmed the development and requested bail for his client.
