Veteran Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Bukky Wright has shared her thoughts on the possibility of walking down the aisle again, stating that while she is open to remarriage, it’s not something she considers a necessity.
In an interview with BBC Yoruba, the 58-year-old revealed that she is still hopeful for love, though she is leaving the decision in God’s hands.

“On the issue of marriage, I’m still very much interested but that is if God has destined it. It is not a must. I am not saying other women should not try to get married because as for me, I am still interested in getting married,” she said.

She added, “In fact, to show how much I am interested, when I went Al Kaaba I told God and I know he is a God that answers prayers.”
The actress, who has been married multiple times—including to Adewale Onitiri in 2011—has experienced divorce in the past, but remains optimistic about finding love again.
With a career spanning over two decades, Wright has featured in more than 100 films, cutting across both Yoruba and English genres. She gained prominence for her role in the 1999 classic Saworoide and has since become one of Nollywood’s most respected names.
Away from the screen, she runs a fashion brand known as B Collections and also owns a beauty spa called B Wright.
