Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, has said despite the agitation for Biafra secession, Igbo people will remain in Nigeria.

Umahi stated this while speaking to State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.

The presidential hopeful who visited the villa  to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for his two-day working trip to Ebonyi on May 5 and 6, dismissed the insinuation that the people of the South-East were no longer interested in Nigeria.

He made it known that Igbos were not in support of any form of secessionist agitation.
