Several football stakeholders in the country have united their voices to urge the Nigerian Football Federation to settle the overdue allowances owed to members of the Super Falcons.
These stakeholders, which include both current and former Super Eagles players, are echoing the call made in a recent solidarity statement by FIFpro, the global player union.

FIFpro called on the NFF to address the outstanding payments, and these stakeholders are also joining in this demand.
The statement from FIFpro was shared on Instagram by Asisat Oshoala, a forward for the Super Falcons.

As a response to the statement, Victor Osimhen, who plays for Napoli, commented: “Pay them NFF”
Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe expressed his view by writing: “NFF, pay them! They did us all proud! And even if they didn’t. Pay them what they are owed!!!”

Odion Ighalo, a former frontman of the Super Eagles, commented, “NFF never stop these things.”
Randy Waldrum and his team have been in conflict with the football authorities due to unpaid salaries and bonuses.
This dispute almost led to the team boycotting the ongoing Women’s World Cup.
