Ijaw Comrades to Swear in New Leadership in Delta

The Delta Ijaw Comrades Community, DICC, will swear in a new set of leadership to pilot the affairs of the pressure group for another term.

This was contained in a public statement by the Acting Chairman of DICC, Comrade Welemu Ayoromiegha, inviting the general public to grace the occasion.

According to Welemu, the occasion is billed to take place at the residence of the group’s Patron by 10 am, Friday May 7, 2021 at St Mary’s Road, off Airport Road, Warri, Delta state.

The outspoken advocate stated that all arrangements have been put in place to cater for guests at the ceremony.

The Delta Ijaw Comrade Community is a pressure group with the aim of advocating for the development of coastal areas particularly of Ijaws in the state.

The new leadership will be headed by Amb Princewill Yerin Binebai, a foremost vocal voice in the advocation of liberation in the Niger Delta.
