Ijaw Students Announce Medical Outreach in Delta

Students under the umbrella of Delta Ijaw Students (NADIS) have announced plans to embark on a medical outreach in Delta State.

In a press statement by its President, Comrade Ayigo Festus, NADIS said the outreach will be carried out across all Ijaw local government areas in the state.

According to Ayigo, the move is part of “our contribution to community development in our rural communities”.

“We hereby officially announce the date for our Health Sensitization Educational Outreach Tour to all Delta ijaw local governments such as Bomadi, Burutu, Patani, Warri North, Warri South West in preparation of our 2nd Mega Elective Convention with the THEME: The Role Of Students Leadership in politics and Community Development .

“The Health Sensitization/Medical Outreach Program seeks to address the pressing healthcare needs of underserved communities by providing essential medical services
and health education.

“Through this initiative, we aim to improve access to healthcare,
promote preventive care practices by distributing 5,000 Mosquitoe NET to families, and enhance overall well-being of our people in the rural communities.

“With your support, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families who lack access to basic healthcare services. By contributing to our Health Sensitization/Medical Outreach Program, you will help us deliver medical consultations, screenings, vaccinations, and health education sessions to those in need.

“While in the course of the medical outreach and health sensitization, NADIS will be donate and distributing 100 marker boards to schools in the rural communities in a bid to create a conducive environment for learning.

“We appeal with everyone to key into this project by supporting financial and providing materials needed towards the success of this community development health care services and Educational outreach.”
