'I'll Keep My Campaign Promises,' Alapala Reassures Burutu North

The lawmaker representing Burutu Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo had assured his constituents of keeping his campaign promises.

Alapala gave the reassurance while addressing news men at the inauguration reception of members of the 8th assembly on Tuesday.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Alapala and other elected members of the Delta State House of Assembly were inaugurated on Tuesday by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Quizzed on what the occasion meant to him, Alapala said;

“Once again, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Burutu Constituency I for entrusting me with this great opportunity to serve.

“I am simply reassuring them that all the promises I made during my campaigns will be followed to the latter with the help of God.”

Alapala, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, defeated Asupa Forteta of the Peoples Democratic Party, who was an incumbent member of the House at the time.
