Luis Suarez recently expressed his desire to retire alongside Lionel Messi, even after his failed transfer to Inter Miami.
Inter Miami has been making headlines in football by signing Messi, as well as his former teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba from Barcelona.
Despite the unsuccessful attempt to bring Suarez to Inter Miami from Gremio, both players still hope to play together again.
Suarez shared their retirement plans during an interview on the Uruguayan TV show Punto Penal, revealing that they had always talked about it during their time at Barcelona.

However, due to Suarez joining Atletico Madrid and Messi moving to PSG, the plan didn’t materialize then.
Now that Messi is in Miami and seemingly content, Suarez remains hopeful that the possibility of retiring together in the United States might happen eventually.
Considering Suarez’s current physical issues, it may be challenging for him to continue playing for an extended period, which could impact their goal of retiring together.
