Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reassured fans that he is focused on recovery after suffering a hamstring injury that has temporarily sidelined him from action.

“I’m recovering. I’m recovering and I’m ready to watch today’s match. Let’s go, Al Nassr!” Ronaldo wrote.
The injury occurred shortly after Al-Nassr FC secured a win over Al-Fayha FC, with scans later confirming a hamstring tear.
Earlier, Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus revealed that medical tests showed the injury was more serious than initially believed.
“After the tests, we saw that Cristiano’s injury is more serious than we thought,” Jesus said.
According to the coach, Ronaldo has travelled to Madrid to undergo specialised rehabilitation with his personal physiotherapist.
Despite the setback, the veteran forward has been enjoying an impressive season with Al-Nassr FC, scoring 21 goals in 22 appearances to help the club remain competitive in the Saudi Pro League.
However, the injury forced him to miss their recent match against Neom SC and could keep him sidelined for several weeks.
Early estimates suggest a recovery period of two to four weeks, which could also put his participation in upcoming friendlies for the Portugal national football team in doubt.
Portugal are scheduled to face the Mexico national football team and the United States men’s national soccer team in international friendly matches.
For now, Ronaldo’s main priority remains returning fully fit for the decisive final stretch of the club season and preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
