Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has queried why action has not been taken against Kaduna-based islamic cleric, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi following the suspension of the Chief Imam of Apo Jumat Mosque, Abuja, Sheikh Nuru Khalid.

Sheikh Gumi had consistently defended the bandits terrorising the northern part of Nigeria.

Reports had it that Imam Khalid was suspended by the Mosque Steering Committee for criticizing the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government over its inability to stop incessant killings in the country.
