The President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC) Prof. Benjamin Okaba and his Spokesman, Engr Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha have been conferred with chieftaincy titles.
The duo was honored with the traditional titles by the paramount ruler of Operemor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty King Dr. Ekioemi Oweiagbe John, on Saturday.
While Prof. Okaba was conferred with the title of Ezonebeogbodiowei of Operemor Kingdom, Engr Oyakemeagbegha was conferred with the Ezonebefereweneowei of Operemor Kingdom.
Other notable individuals conferred with chieftaincy titles by Gbesa I are Prince Emman Amgbaduba and Alfred Ezonebi, who were conferred with the Gesieyemienowei and Numupere I titles respectively.

The event was attended by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, who was represented by Chris Osakwe, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Delta State Government House, Asaba.
Oborevworo was joined by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon Julius Pondi; Chief Peres Oloye, Burutu Constituency II; Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, PDP Chairman Delta State; Chief Favour Izoukumor, Executive Director DESOPADEC, Barry Gbe, amongst other political big wigs.
Meanwhile, Dr. Oghenekaro Akarue, Chairman Ethan Media Group, chaired the occasion.
