Frank Onyeka, the midfielder for Brentford, will be absent from Nigeria’s friendly against the Eagles of Mali due to an injury he sustained during the Super Eagles’ recent 2-1 victory over the Black Stars of Ghana.
Sources from the camp confirmed Frank Onyeka injury, and he has returned to his club for additional treatment.
Joining him in the return journey is Calvin Bassey, the defender from Fulham, who is also dealing with a minor injury. Bassey, who remained on the bench during the match against Ghana, will miss the upcoming game as well.

The Super Eagles are set to face Mali at the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Tuesday.
