Victor Oye, national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), says mischief makers are the ones causing violence in Anambra.

There has been series of violent attacks, leading to killings, kidnapping and destruction of properties in the state.

Speaking on the development, on Thursday, during an interview on Channels Television, the APGA national chairman said: “In Anambra state, the real voters are with the party. Those that will cast the votes are the grassroots — the market women, the church people and the youths. They are with APGA, because the party has delivered the dividends of democracy,”

“Workers are paid on every 25th and 27th of the month and pensioners are paid first-line charge. The government is working. There is security. The insecurity you are witnessing today was created by mischief makers to truncate the forthcoming election.

“Anambra state is known as the safest state in Nigeria; that record is there. Those causing confusion in the state know that there is a need for us to live in peace and harmony, because if you cause crisis in the state, it will affect you, affect your family directly or indirectly

“All of us have relations; they all live in Anambra state. Can’t we work together and stick together?
