The Nigerian Navy has released Instagram comedian, Abdulgafar Ahmad popularly known as Cute Abiola.
Recall that Abiola was said to have been missing on Monday, November 15, 2021, when his colleague in the comedy industry, Debo Adedayo aka Mr. Macaroni, raised the alarm that he was nowhere to be found after reporting at his office in Navy Town, Lagos.
Suleman Dahun, In a statement released on November 17, spoke on behalf of the Chief of Navy Staff stating that the comedian was not missing but was in custody for breaching the Armed forces social media policy.

According to him, Abiola was detained because he posted a video of himself on social media with the military uniform, which is a violation of the armed forces’ social media policy.
Dahun in a new development said;
the comedian is no longer in naval detention but has been released to serve his punishment.
