IPF Celebrates Matthew Tonlagha’s Golden Jubilee, Calls Him Special Gift

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) joined the global community in celebrating a milestone birthday of one of its own, Engr. Matthew Tonlagha, as he marks his 50th birthday!, marking a Golden Jubilee milestone.

In a special tribute, the Forum’ described Engr. Matthew Tonlagha as a special gift from God to the Ijaw nation, adding that he is a pathfinder of the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta. “Matthew has been a beacon of hope and inspiration to many, and his contributions to the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta region are immeasurable,” it added.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by its national president Comrade Ozobo Austin and spokesman, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel on Sunday.

The statement reads, “Engr. Tonlagha’s dedication to public service, community development, peace, security, and nation-building has earned him respect and admiration across the Niger Delta. His leadership and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on many lives.”

IPF lauded Tonlagha’s exceptional roles in promoting peace, security, and development in the Niger Delta, citing his leadership in calming the region during turbulent times. “We respect him and express our gratitude for his contributions,” the statement added.

“As the intellectual arm of the Ijaw Struggle for self-determination, we celebrate Engr. Tonlagha for being a special gift and exceptional roles he played for peace, security and development in Niger Delta region. We can’t be in a hurry to forget how he led the peace path among other leaders when the Niger Delta region was boiling in recent years.

“We respect him, we celebrate him and wish to express our unreserved gratitude to him. We wish him many more years of service, joy, and fulfillment. We pray that God blesses him with good health, wisdom, and continued success in all his endeavors”, the statement added.

The forum wishes Engr. Tonlagha many more years of service, joy, and fulfillment, praying for his good health, wisdom, and continued success.
