Nigerian music star Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has publicly denied claims that he and his wife, actress and fashion icon Temi Otedola, have welcomed their first child. The rumour, which spread rapidly on social media, was sparked by misleading images that many fans initially believed to be real.

The speculation began after a post surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) showing photos of the couple alongside what appeared to be Temi Otedola holding a newborn baby girl. The post, shared by an influencer identified as Kolaqhazim, quickly went viral and drew massive engagement.

The caption read: “Finally!!! Temi Otedola and Mr. Eazi have reportedly welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl, after an eight-year relationship.”

Within hours, thousands of congratulatory messages poured in from fans and fellow celebrities, many celebrating what they believed was a new chapter for the celebrity couple.

However, the excitement was short-lived.

Reacting to the viral post, Mr Eazi took to his verified X account to shut down the claims with a brief but pointed response: “Is Temi aware of this?”

The singer’s comment immediately sparked conversations online, with many users realising that one of the circulating images was AI-generated, further raising concerns about misinformation on social media.

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, have remained one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity couples since they began dating in 2017. Despite constant public attention, the pair have largely kept their private lives away from unnecessary scrutiny.

The couple sealed their union in 2025 with a series of lavish wedding ceremonies across three countries. These included a private civil ceremony in Monaco, a star-studded traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai featuring legendary musician King Sunny Ade, and an intimate white wedding held at Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, Iceland.

For now, the couple have made it clear that reports of welcoming a child remain false.
