The group called on the president to issue an order protection Fulani herdsmen from assault, and other forms of discrimination.
The president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received a request from the Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, CBAN over the constant assault and discrimination of herders.
The group, popularly known as Miyetti Allah described the victimization and stigmatization received by pastoral communities across the country.

Further explaining in a statement released by the group today, Friday, April 18 by it’s secretary-general, Bello Gotomo, the group pleaded with the president for a presidential order, over numerous alleged ethnic profiling, harassment, and scapegoating of herders across the country.

The Nigerian government must ensure accountability, justice, and protection for all citizens regardless of ethnicity,”
Miyetti Allah further called ok human rights group and the federal government to work on protecting herdsmen from violence and prosecution.
